Assistant Vice President of Marketing Property REMOTE POSITION
If you enjoy developing new personal lines insurance products, analyzing industry competitors, expanding sales into new territories, motivating agents to promote the company products, forging new relationships with independent agents and MGAs, this is the opportunity for you.
You can work remotely and schedule your agency visits to promote the companys products.
In this position you will beresponsible for the development, direction and expansion of the Personal Lines sales team into new territories; enhancing the sale of all products; and assisting sales representatives with sales strategies, policies and practices.
You will be accountable to expand business opportunities by identifying prospects, evaluating prospects position in the industry, and researching and analyzing solutions.
You will work with the enterprise to keep marketing, management and leadership team informed of industry developments by monitoring competitive products and reaction from existing and new clients.
This position has high visibility in the marketplace and is also bonus eligible.
Qualifications required for optimal success:
  • 10+ years of successful sales, sales management and business development in the property & casualty industry. Property lines strongly preferred
  • Possess deep existing business relationships with retail and general agents.
  • Experience to analyze and drive agency management; Recognizes and recommends actions or areas needing improvement.
  • Proven ability to foster new relationships with agents and MGAs.
  • Extensive knowledge of automation and technology to provide professional presentation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to coach and develop high performing sales staff is needed; prior experience in the leadership and mentoring of coworkers.
  • Expert knowledge of: advertising/promotion; market research/analysis; product line management; product pricing; account development/evaluation; sales techniques; customer/account training; contract development; business planning; and strategic planning.

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-06T00:00 Relationship and Scope This position will report to the Reinsurance Services Senior Vice President. The position requires extensive knowledge of reinsurance accounting, contracts and procedures. The candidate will use this knowledge to lead accountants and managers in resolving complex reinsurance issues by identifying the technical issues and completing detailed reconciliations that provide a resolution. The candidate will be expected to provide training and guidance to develop Reinsurance Accounting personnel. Responsibilities include: * Lead team of accountants with the processing of complex reinsurance account processing. * Champion reinsurance accounting process automation transformation. * Responsible for the accurate and timely disbursements and billings of all reinsurance agreements for North America. * Oversight of the experienced based adjustments and associated reporting. * Oversight of the premium and loss control ledgers to insure registrations are completed for amounts paid out by manual entries. * Oversight of On Behalf Of ledgers relating to settlements with internal international Chubb entities. * Monthly review of unapplied cash reports to provide accountants with assistance in getting cash applied where requested. * Take a lead role to resolve reinsurance or collection issues with brokers and reinsurers where required. * Work with accountants to resolve internal issues with business units and registration processing areas. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree - Accounting/Finance/Business * Insurance designations (such as ARe / CPCU) desired, CPA a plus. * Extensive knowledge (10 to 15 years) of reinsurance accounting, contracts and procedures. * Proven leader that can effectively manage team within a changing environment. * Ability to analyze large data sets to identify and resolve complex issues. * Ability to align data sets from different systems (example FIRST accounting and Cognos financials) to identify and resolve problems. * Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts until problems are clarified and resolved. * Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment * Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access and PeopleSoft is required * ProCede and FIRST knowledge a plus Chubb Philadelphia PA
