PRIMARY PURPOSE:

In this newly created position, the AVP, Marketing Partnerships & Programming, will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our marketing programming and content initiatives, focusing on uncovering meaningful consumer insights and identifying trends to engage target audiences. This dynamic leader will craft innovative programs and placemaking initiatives to drive traffic and sales to Simon centers.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Develop and execute placemaking and content initiatives to position Simon shopping destinations as the "place to be" for target audiences. Initially this role will focus on "Gen Z" and "Moms" as the targets, but may also include Empty Nesters, Multicultural, Luxury and Tourists.

  • Develop strategic partnerships and collaborations with high profile brands.

  • Be an "idea innovator" who takes inspiration from popular culture, news, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram and other sources to develop new and unique programs, activations, and partnership opportunities. Identify trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to connect, engage and resonate with target audiences.

  • Identify opportunities to provide "value" for target audiences with unique takes on culturally relevant moments, occasions, and omni-channel initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Business or a related field.

  • 8+ years' experience in a marketing and/or advertising with a high-profile brand.

  • Proven experience in a strategic marketing role, with a focus on brand programming and activations.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer behavior.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategies, and programming.

  • Experience in identifying and capitalizing on emerging technologies and trends.

  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Flexibility to adapt strategies for different target audiences.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Driven and motivated to make a difference.

The salary range for this position is $86,000- $198,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon various factors, including an individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Geographic location will also be taken into consideration when determining compensation levels.
