We are currently looking for an Assistant Vice President of Marketing to help us effectively market the company's products and services to internal and external stakeholders, and to make sure that our messaging is on point. The AVP will be a key member of our leadership team. The position is located in our Encino headquarters, soon moving to beautiful Calabasas, CA. This is an exciting time for our company with tremendous forward momentum.
Ensures effective marketing of our products and services to internal and external stakeholders through the right messaging, the creation and distribution of promotional materials, and the continuing education of our employees.
Enhances the company's brand and market presence through the delivery of an effective, compelling marketing campaign that leverages various technology platforms, including social and print media.
Works with IT to explore innovative technology solutions to marketing and distribution challenges.
Oversees cross-departmental efforts to develop marketing initiatives and new products.
Contributes to the development of strategies, performance targets, and business plans. Collaborates with strategic initiative leaders to maximize strategic value to the company.
Responsible for the performance and coaching of direct reports and decisions about talent selection, development, and performance management.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Field of Study: Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.Experience: 10 or more years of experience in a financial institution's marketing, underwriting, or related discipline. At least 5 years of management experience. Experience with an insurance company is preferred.
