The Manager II, Foundation Operations (Assistant Vice President, Foundation Operations) is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operations of CHLA Foundation#s Operations Department.# Provides day-to-day management for Operations Department and special projects as assigned, sets priorities and fosters fiscal strength and operational excellence. The position is responsible for managing the Foundation#s operational infrastructure, ensuring that the Foundation operates effectively, efficiently, and smoothly, and provides a supportive environment for fundraising and administration.
This position requires leadership and management skills and serves as the liaison to the Foundation Department with various operation departments within CHLA. The position will supervise and mentor operations staff; and research, recommend and implement enhancements to workflow based on industry standards, best practices, and policies and procedures. The Manager will work independently on complex projects and developing policies and procedures, ensuring best practices at met, and obtaining recommendations and solutions to challenges.
In addition, this position uses initiative to formulate working groups and/or one-off meetings with peers and other staff members. This position reports to the Associate Senior Vice President, Foundation Operations and is responsible for meeting the metric targets for the Operations area as set by the Associate Senior Vice President.
