Assistant Unit Director 14 West Tower Oncology
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse ready to provide leadership to an established unit?
You might be the perfect candidate for the Assistant Unit Director 14 W Tower Oncology Unit.
Provide supportive leadership to a 32 bed unit which provides multidisciplinary team focus to manage complex medical and surgical oncology patient populations.
Populations served include gyne/oncology, urology, gynecology, and medical oncology
The Assistant Unit Director serves as the clinical liaison and assistant business manager for the Oncology Unit.
Accountability for nursing practice as a key member of the leadership team.
Serves as the Unit Director ( UD) designee in the absence of UD
Implements initiatives in support of the unit vision, while managing human, operational and organizational systems that support patient care.
Position Qualifications Include:
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure required.
Earned nursing degree at the baccalaureate level or higher.
National certification required within 12 months of hire.
Consistent proficient performance at the RN 2 level or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated progressive, proficient management and leadership skills
