Position Title: Assistant Treatment Director
Reports To: Treatment Director
Supervises: Treatment Staff
Entry Level Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences. Minimum of two years experience in addictions treatment and management with one year in the field in a supervisor position and licensed as LCSW or LPC.
Must be capable of administering CPR (Certification required).
Must be able to see at 20/40 corrected in each eye and hear (hearing aid acceptable).
Must be able to maintain record and have good communication skills.
Must be able to continuously sit from 2 to 3 hours per 8-hour shift.
Walk within the facility approximately mile per 8-hour shift.
Must be emotionally and physically capable of functioning under stressful situations.
If recovering, three years of continuous verifiable sobriety.
Provide treatment supervision and oversight in accordance with BHS Philosophy and Principles or Treatment and professional code of ethics. Provide any and all job assignments as directed by supervisor.
"Know and abide by the general provisions of 42 CFR Part 2, "Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records"; and 45 CFR "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act". This position has unrestricted access to patient identifying information and patient health information."
Model interdisciplinary teamwork and guide the team in its practice.
Integrate the philosophies and principles of treatment both the program and the process of supervision.
Complete annual performance reviews and competency ratings, which address clinical strengths, opportunities for improvement, and performance goals in a timely manner.
Supervise and Direct CAs and PSAs.
Fill in for Treatment Director as needed.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness as to perform the job safely.
Performs other duties as assigned.
