The Town of Jackson is seeking a highly competent and value-centered individual to work in municipal government in an active year-round resort community. The hiring range is $120,150 - 150,000, DOQ with full benefits.
Primary duties include legal research, development of arguments and testimony, analysis of legal issues, preparation of legal briefs, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, agreements, deeds, leases, and other legal instruments, document production oversight, as well as the preparation of related reports and correspondence. Any combination of education and experience providing the additional required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical additional qualifications would be equivalent to: ability to practice law in the State of Wyoming or ability to obtain within 1 yr of employment, 2 yrs experience practicing law and litigation, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
