Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate activities of theater staff to ensure efficient operation, promote patronage of theatre and provide a positive guest experience.

  • Monitor staff adherence to IFC Center and AMC Networks values and policies, and ensure proper training of all staff members.

  • Monitor ticket sales.

  • Cash and inventory control.

  • Prepare theater schedules.

  • Supervise floor Staff.

  • Supervise theater maintenance between shows.

  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the theater industry.

  • Must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a high volume environment while managing staff.

As an Assistant Center Director, you will: * Report directly to the respective Center Director * Be responsible for location-level sales and marketing execution * Assist with the day-to-day operations of the center * Oversee all aspects of location-specific birthday parties, a key source of new leads. Sales & Hospitality: * Maintain the highest level of customer service possible at all times following the NY Kids Club pillars of service * Field phone calls, emails, and in-person client requests/questions/tours * Seek to build genuine relationships with clients and children * Increase client communication and client retention * Manage client relations challenges if/as they arise * Assist in managing the location budget, supply ordering, and staff scheduling * Develop relationships and partnerships in your community Marketing/Promotion: * Ensure the location is clean, well-organized and visually presentable for clients each day * Ensure outdoor sandwich boards and front-of-store marketing materials are on brand * Maintain up-to-date location flyers, postings, TV and bulletin board displays * Manage all mass e-mails and mailings to clients * Attend up to two assigned NY Kids Club camp, class or promotional events, open houses, fairs, etc. per semester * Oversee location promo team activities * Build partnerships with local schools to generate interest in the after-school walk over programs * Build partnerships with local businesses, establishing and maintaining a list of drop points for placement of branded collateral * Oversee local-level social media activities, contributing Facebook and Instagram posts * Develop and execute on new ideas for building school enrollment Desired Skills + Qualifications: * Previous experience working in an environment with or around children a plus * Previous sales and marketing experience preferred * Self-‐starter, highly motivated, dynamic and creative team player * Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects/assignments * Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet communications, as well as, excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Good sense of humor Benefits * Competitive pay based on experience * Eligibility for health, dental, vision and life insurance, 401(k) * Excellent PTO program * On-the-job training and ongoing professional development * Career advancement opportunities * Reduced gym-cost membership * Access to preferred seating and special offers for top shows, attractions, theme parks, sporting events, movie tickets, hotels and much more through Plum Benefits * Commuter benefits through TransitChek * Company-wide events and team bonding activities * Energetic and collaborative team environment * For the best chance of receiving communication please add jazz.co and jazzhr.com to your domain list.
