Description and Responsibilities

Mon-Fri 7:15m-3:45pm. The Assistant Team Leader is responsible for the assigned production area, working both independently and as a team player, leads by influence, train new employees, coaching employees, has the ablility to lift up to 50lbs, work overtime, multitask, offer ideas for continuous improvement of processes, adhere to production schedule, adhere to all safety and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.

Qualifications
2+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred

Must be a self starter and a team player with excellent attendance

Must have strong math skills and the ability to operate in various positions to provide relief and coverage on team

Previous experience leading people is preferred

We presently have an opening for a first shift Welder 3, working from 7 AM- 3:30 PM. Essential Responsibilities: In this role, you will: Perform all Norwich Welder level 1 & 2 functions, in addition to level 3 Assist in leading Team initiatives Receive minimal training / guidance from Level 4 employees Effectively & efficiently produce parts according to certification and quality guidelines Assist in new process development and troubleshooting of products.
