Job Overview/Summary

This position is responsible for estimating and analyzing foreign income inclusion items, certain transfer pricing adjustment and foreign tax credits for Clorox's quarterly tax provision and US federal income taxable income. This position is also responsible for reviewing certain aspects of U.S. income tax provision as they relate to Clorox's foreign operations. This position interacts with different functions in Clorox's global tax team and liaise with accounting, legal and treasury groups. This position may lead to a more senior role in the department as the individual grows in the role.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review Forms 5471, Forms 8858, Forms 8865, Form 8975 and other international tax forms required under the US tax reform.

Assist with calculating and reviewing the income tax provisions of assigned foreign subsidiaries in accordance with ASC 740.

Analyze foreign source income, expenses allocation and perform foreign tax credits computations.

Coordinate and manage foreign statutory reporting and foreign tax return compliance process of assigned Clorox foreign entities

Assist with transfer pricing documentation. Assist with estimating legal entity income based on established intercompany pricings. Monitor adherence to company's transfer pricing policy. Maintenance of intercompany agreements.

Assist with BEPS Action 13 compliance (Master File, C-by-C Reporting)

Support technology and process improvement initiatives regarding international compliance

Assist with research and planning of US international tax issues.

Other projects as assigned.

Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 or more years of industry or public accounting experience in corporate tax

  • Experience in federal income tax provision and compliance

  • International tax experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience

  • CPA or Masters in Taxation, preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Works accurately with attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, such as Power Query.

  • SAP and/or HFM knowledge, preferred

  • Experience with CORPTax ETS, preferred
