Requirements / Qualifications

  • Valid Administrative Credential *Completed EdJoin Management Application *Current Letter of Introduction *Current Resume *Three Letters of Recommendation (all within the past two years including one from a supervisor) *Masters Required

Master of Arts or advanced degree from an accredited college or university ? Administrative and/or supervisory credential ? Teaching credential and three (3) years of teaching experience ? Five (5) years of experience in an administrative capacity having demonstrated success in performing increasingly responsible management functions in educational administration ? Experience as a secondary school principal is preferred

Provides the requisite oversight and evaluation of principals, the instructional program and school operations to ensure a climate and culture that promotes student growth and achievement for all students. The Assistant Superintendent shall report directly Superintendent and shall serve on the Superintendent's Cabinet.
