We're looking for a motivated individual with at least 2 years of experience in commercial construction across sectors such as multi-family, light industrial, medical, retail, and office spaces. Position Overview: As an Assistant Superintendent, you'll be responsible for overseeing specific field operations on our projects.

While you won't need to perform manual labor, you'll manage and coordinate those who do, ensuring that each assignment is completed on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the on-site field labor force daily.

Develop and maintain the site logistics plan in collaboration with the Project Manager. Monitor costs, including labor time and materials. Manage project schedules, preparing detailed short-term schedules, and ensuring all activities are completed as planned.

Make decisions to adjust schedules or re-coordinate work as necessary. Prepare and submit Superintendent's Daily Reports. Attend and actively participate in project and subcontractor meetings.

Qualifications: Post-secondary education in a construction-related field is preferred but not required. Basic understanding of construction industry equipment, labor, means, and methods. Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or light industrial construction.

Proficient in computer use with the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes. Ability to understand and interpret construction documents, including drawings, standards, and specifications. Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
