Position DescriptionThe ASM Sales is primarily responsible for managing and driving sales and margin in alignment with the financial plan of the retail store by managing a sales team that develops customer relationships, pursues sales opportunities, and ultimately closes sales. The ASM Sales has accountability for managing and driving overall sales in the following areas:

In-Store ProServices, Installed Sales, Special Order Sales, In Home Project Sales, Extended Protection Plans (EPP), and Credit. In addition, the ASM Sales may be expected to provide full leadership over the store at any point in absence of the Store Manager. The ASM Sales is responsible for building and developing (includes recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring and coaching) a professional and talented sales organization that provides the desired customer experience while maximizing sales, margin, close rates and average ticket. As the sales leader in the store and subject matter expert on Lowe s selling model, the ASM Sales must have extensive knowledge of sales techniques and be able to teach others the critical skills needed to be effective sales associates at Lowe s.Job RequirementsRequires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week; physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise; physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.Minimum QualificationsBachelor s degree and 1 year of experience leading a high-performing sales team with direct reporting responsibility OR 3 years of experience leading a high-performing sales team with direct reporting responsibility1 year of experience in retail, business to business, and/or in-home sales1 year of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications5 years of experience leading a high-performing sales team with direct reporting responsibility in retail, business to business, in-home sales, or consumer service 1 year of experience performing "manager on duty" responsibilities, including management of daily store operations and processes within and beyond assigned areas of responsibility1 year of experience training and developing direct reports

Experience working in the home improvement retail sector

Experience in directly managing commissioned salespeople Broad knowledge of interior/exterior product categories (e.g., flooring, cabinets, millwork, building materials, appliances, home dcor, lighting, plumbing)Experience working with store computer systems (including but not limited to: Project Tool, Genesis, M2O, Thin Client, etc.)

Job Description Summary: The Wedding Services Manager's primary responsibility will be to plan, coordinate and oversee all the details involved in weddings/social events. The Wedding Services Manager must be familiar with the property's philosophies as they apply to the entire facility to enable comprehensive coordination of events. The Manager must be especially knowledgeable of the property's operations including Food and Beverage and Event Spaces. Job Description: QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum one year hotel, catering/conference or meeting planning experience. * Supervisory experience and human relations skills. * Extremely Detail Oriented. * Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Delphi. * Excellent communication skills. * Able to work variable hours including weekends and holidays. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship with clients through effective, accurate, timely, and reliable communication and action. Remain one step ahead of the client in anticipating their needs. Guarantee that each client's expectations, requirements and request are being met prior to arrival and throughout their visit. 2. Address all client concerns as they develop ensuring instant appeasement. 3. Check all functions prior to client's arrival, guaranteeing all details are in agreement with client's requirements and hotel standards. Meet with the appropriate staff and prior to the function to ensure any deficiencies are corrected by respective personnel. 4. Communicate with clients via telephone, written correspondence, and in person, our policies and procedures as they relate to the coordination of their events. 5. Answer incoming calls within 3 rings and with proper greeting and telephone etiquette. Respond in a timely manner to phone calls and messages. 6. Maintain a working relationship with other departments. 7. Obtain all necessary information from client in a timely and accurate manner. Communicate the following information to all appropriate departments: Meeting Room Set-Ups, Set by and Refresh times Audio Visual Requirements Food and Beverage Requirements Guarantee Numbers Billing Information Additional Information as Deemed Necessary 8. Maintain Client files, making sure that they are kept organized and current with all information. 9. Keep office/desk area organized and clean. 10. Communicate effectively with Operational Department Managers to ensure that all standards are met and that contractual obligations (written and verbal) are fulfilled. 11. Attend weekly designated meetings such as Conference Review and Group Rooms, Departmental Meetings and daily stand-up meetings. 12. Communicate operational problems to the sales and catering team as they arise. 13. Meet and escort clients through the property and highlight features of the facility as well as available services. 14. Exemplify a positive "can do" attitude and lead by example. Foster and promote a cooperative working climate maximizing employee morale. 15. Follow all grooming standards; maintain a professional image in dress and mannerisms. 16. Providing theme concept designs for functions, assist client with the set-up of all theme events, procuring necessary props, floral, costumes, entertainment, etc. for these events and handling any problems which may arise during the event. 17. Analyzing departmental procedures and offering viable management alternatives to the processes in the department including billing procedures, client correspondence, and form generation. 18. Assisting the sales and catering teams in the planning process, installation and other facets of departmental projects to include (but not limited to) Holiday functions, special events for the property and Hotel sponsored functions. 19.
