General Summary :

As a Family Dollar Assistant Store Manager you will responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. A key priority includes assisting the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store. Under the direction of the Store Manager, you will also be responsible for maintaining inventories, store appearance and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities :

Greets and assists customers in a positive, approachable manner. Answers questions and resolves customer inquiries and concerns.

Maintains a presence in the store by providing excellent customer service.

Ensures a clean, well-stocked store for customers.

At the direction of the Store Manager, supervises, trains, and develops Store Team Members on Family Dollar operating practices and procedures.

Assists in unloading all merchandise from delivery truck, organizes merchandise, and transfers merchandise from stockroom to store.

Assists Store Manager in ordering merchandise and record keeping to include payroll, scheduling and cash register deposits and receipts.

Supports Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.

Assumes certain management responsibilities in absence of Store Manager.

Follows all Company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

Education : Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to read, interpret and explain to others operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc).

Experience : Prefer store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Availability : Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

VIEW JOBS 10/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-09T00:00 Hydrocarbons Louisiana Sr. Site Integration Manager Dow Hydrocarbons & Energy (HC&E) is looking for a talented individual seeking a career path in Hydrocarbons to manage overall integration of our Louisiana pocket. Sites included in the Louisiana pocket are St Charles Operations, Plaquemine, Grand Bayou, and Sabine River Works. It is an exciting time to join Hydrocarbons with the recent announcements surrounding Dow's future growth plans of the ethylene envelope including a furnace expansions at LHC-9, and SRW, and a new polyethylene train to be constructed in USGC. Hydrocarbons will play an instrumental role in the success of the future Dow. The HC Supply Chain team is responsible for management of all steam cracker product streams which include ethylene, propylene, aromatics and butadiene. This role specifically is intimately involved with overall Louisiana integration from Feedstock to Cracker to Derivative partners. The role will report directly to the NA HC Integrated Supply Chain Director. Key Job Responsibilities and Accountability: * Guide and implement supply/demand plans for Feedstocks and Olefins for the pocket that operates 5 steam crackers and one aromatics plant with over 3,000 KTA ethylene capacity. The short-term balance needs cover a 12 month view but also include a long-term view. The balances require incorporating derivative demand, third party supply, exchanges, and internal supply from Freeport. Lastly, the view is integrated to brine balancing which is critical for reliable supply. * Manage Dow and industry receipts and deliveries of Feedstocks to the crackers and Olefins products to the derivatives and markets. Role is critical in enabling feedstock flexibility strategy: planning feedstock physical moves to/from the industry in conjunction with the appropriate Dow commercial and supply chain planners. Lastly, role is critical in optimizing and controlling up to $100MM of inventory value. * Ensure the planning processes fully utilizes the sites integration capabilities in support of cracker optimization and ensure that the deliveries/storage of Olefins products are achieved in coordination with the appropriate Dow commercial and supply chain contacts. Work and coordinate with shared services for marine, rail, and pipeline issues when needed. * Identify and lead key Improvement efforts relevant to resolving gaps in costs, optimizations, etc. Examples include: Leading and participating in teams to understand and communicate quality issues and how they impact customers and producers, working to resolve communication and notification issues with derivatives and crackers, tracking known deficiencies in measurements or recycles, aligning envelope asset outages including pipeline and storage assets where appropriate. * Serves as key member of Site Emergency Operations Center as Production Planning focal point for ethylene / propylene envelopes and Site Growth Team. Provides 24/7 response for HC&E integration issues requiring near term prioritization. * Oversight for the monthly closing and inventory reconciliation process for the Louisiana pocket in coordination with U.S. closing scope. * Active member of the weekly USGC FS meeting accountable for reporting operational status and potential opportunities in relation to feed and product logistics. * Development and implementation of integration strategies supporting the business strategy. * Anticipates risks and develops contingency plans to mitigate impact * Identification of supply chain services required to meet business requirements. * The role collaborates closely with Cracker, MSP, Site Logistics and Derivative Plant Leaders, Feedstocks & Olefins Commercial, Derivative business/SC leaders and EH&S. * Accountable for effective turnaround and maintenance planning of SC infrastructure. This includes SC strategies to support cracker/coproduct plant, derivative partner, site logistic, and HC SC asset turnarounds. * Prime and gross cost leadership. This role is accountable for delivery of Louisiana pocket prime spending targets as well as supporting the 3-5 year expense & capital plans. Lastly, must drive on-going productivity and service improvements such as through business improvement projects. * Collaborates with leveraged Shared Services to ensure the business requirements are most effectively met at the lowest cost. * Even though this is not a people management role, it is expect that this senior role lead through influence to support junior integration role and Louisiana HC PDA's. Preferred Qualifications: * MBA not required but desirable. * Proficiency in Microsoft tools.
