At Francesca's, our Assistant Store Managers are called Assistant Team Leaders. The successful Assistant Team leader candidate will have several years of specialty retail experience in a leadership role, as an Assistant Store Manager or Assistant Team Leader. The Assistant Team Leader must have a strong emphasis on guest service, product and visual presentation, be an effective problem solver and possess an entrepreneurial spirit in order to support the Boutique Team Leader. The Assistant Team Leader will assist the Boutique Team Leader in building and retaining a high performing and diverse sales team. Through coaching the Assistant Team Leader must motivate their team to provide superior customer service and in turn maximize sales. The candidate, in partnership with the Boutique Team Leader, must understand business drivers, how to maximize profitability, and ensure visual and operational standards are met consistently in their boutique.

Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job Requirements:

Leadership:

  • Drives business results by maximizing daily sales plans, managing expenses and improving metrics through sales floor leadership, the execution of francesca's training programs, and continuous coaching on and off the sales floor

  • Plans, delegates and follows up on expected tasks, assignments and activities to ensure expectations and objectives are met

  • Provides consistent developmental feedback that empowers and motivates our team and fosters a team environment by using effective communication skills

  • Assists in acting as a liaison between the Boutique Team, District Team Leader, Regional Director, Human Resources and Boutique Operations

People/Talent:

  • Attracts, recruits, and retains team members who are guest focused and demonstrate the ability to drive sales

  • Leads, develops and coaches team members to reach their fullest potential and prepare them for the next level of responsibility by utilizing company tools

  • Evaluates and reacts to performance issues fairly and consistently in accordance with our expected practices

  • Maintains a high degree of personal integrity and inspires a team with the same values

Guest Experience:

  • Possess the ability to lead by example and deliver "Our francesca's Promise" to the sales team and all guests within the boutique

  • Creates and reinforces a proactive selling culture that focuses on building a confident and competent team, in order to build a loyal guest following through clear and positive communication

  • Prepares the team to balance our guest experience with necessary operational tasks

Visual Merchandising:

  • Maintains a visually inspiring boutique that is compelling to guests by developing visual decision making skills and effective communication of our visual standards

  • Utilizes, leads and delivers our visual brand standards to present our unique product mix offering

  • Demonstrates a passion for fashion by understanding trends

Operations:

  • Understands and enforces all company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner

  • Assists with the scheduling of team members in order to deliver the expected level of guest service and maximize sales potential

  • Performs and supervises boutique opening and closing procedures including bank deposits and securing the boutique

  • Protects the physical assets of the boutique by conducting weekly audits, routine cycle counts and an annual physical inventory

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience managing a specialty retail store

  • Demonstrates leadership and integrity with experience managing a staff of boutique team members

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong merchandising and visual skills

  • Excellent organization skills; able to plan and execute tasks efficiently

  • Proactive and creative problem solving ability

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting and climbing

  • Must be able to work alone

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs

This position will work independently with minimal supervision and is responsible for all office management activities including answering phones, greeting visitors, delivering mail, ordering office supplies and coordination of employee workstation set-up. Administrative Support and Office Management Responsibilities: * Manage internal/external meetings and special events for GM * Establish and maintain highly confidential files and records * Work with sensitive information with absolute discretion and manage a high volume of details with efficiency and accuracy * Maintain an up-to-date calendar for the GM and manage and coordinate complex schedules, events, and activities that can change frequently, to ensure the most efficient and effective use of executives' time * Ensure that the General Manager and leadership are informed of meetings and activities * Direct company-wide business travel, entertainment, and lodging arrangements for the GM; anticipating the details needed to ensure safe and smooth travel * Partner with other administrative professionals in the coordination of industry event registrations, attendance and logistics * Preview incoming mail and take initial action or make recommendations as appropriate for GM * Compose and prepare correspondence, documents, presentation materials and reports for GM * Responsible for planning, confirmation and coordination of offsite meetings including confirming hotel, meeting logistics, customer events and attendee group travel arrangements * Book meeting space, meals, and lodging for visitors and clients of GM * In advance of all meetings, ensure that the GM has the appropriate background information * Responsible for problem identification, generating and evaluating alternatives, and coordinating and implementing resolutions to administrative problems to ensure the accomplishment of administrative matters * Prepare and review travel expense forms and corporate credit card receipts for GM; ensure reimbursement is received, and research un-reconciled charges as needed * Manage Equifax temp badges with the Fusion center * Manage non-Equifax guest log and badges for non-EFX visitors * Escort vendors through suite during all services (Plantscape, ABM, ShredIT, Cintas, PS Business Parks, DataWatch, cable provider) * Onboard and coordinate with building's cleaning staff for office access and other ongoing office upkeep * Manage vendor onboarding and ongoing communication * Manage all existing office PO's and invoices in iProc * Manage McLean office main line and voicemail box * Organize and distribute office mail * Create FedEx shipping labels and schedule FedEx pickups as needed * Setup (pick-up) FedEx print jobs * Complete office kitchen orders through Aramark (bi-weekly), Harris Teeter, Amazon, etc. * Code Aramark invoices in Oracle Imaging Center for every office order * Stock kitchens w/ supplies including coffee, Aramark drinks into cooler, candy, cutlery, etc. * Stock, organize, and maintain office supplies closet and mail room * Scheduled and manage printer services and supply/ink orders with the EFX account * Setup phones for new employees (w/ Comstar's support) * Update office phone list * Identify and assign workstations for new employees with managers * Reserve and prep office hotel spaces * Request and assign building access cards through PS Business Parks (DataWatch) * Update McLean office "About_McLean" document with office information (internal and external) * Develop and upkeep McLean Office presentation and present to new employees * Manage McLean's ERMP and BIA Work plans * Send office wide notices and communication (holidays, office closures, inclement weather updates in Fairfax County, repairs, out of order notices, etc.) * Notify and coordinate with building management for all office repairs * Identify, onboard, and coordinate with suppliers for all repairs/office work that the building management is not responsible for * Coordinate monthly office wide team building lunch, donuts, pizza (team building) * Office culture team (S.W.A.T.) member and assists with office volunteer/donation drives, office wide event planning, and office newsletter * Member of the Office Planning Committee * Manage all conference rooms through Outlook and in-person support * Coordinate DDM McLean Meetings (i.e. A/V, food orders, and supplies) * Manage office kitchen equipment for all 4 kitchens (Aramark services coffee machine and filtered water) * Complete all iProc office technology orders (new conference room screens, cameras, etc.) * Assist with SLT meeting and Town Halls happening in McLean (in house and offsite event planning) * General office cleaning, organizing, and purging What makes you a good fit for this role? * Several years of experience working as an office manager and administrative assistant for mid to senior level leaders; or equivalent combination of education and experience * Strong follow-up and follow through skills with the ability to build and maintain strong, trust based relationships * Thorough computer skills including Windows-based applications (MS Office Suite) and supplemental machinery including printers, scanners, fax machines and copiers * Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet and anticipate frequent deadlines in a timely manner, and manage situations through from start to finish * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proof reading skills and the ability to check documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency * Prior experience with planning and arranging meetings, conferences, and events for clients and staff * Bachelor's degree preferred and/or higher education in related discipline (business administration or management) preferred Who is Equifax?
