General Summary:

As a Family Dollar Assistant Store Manager you will responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. A key priority includes assisting the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store. Under the direction of the Store Manager, you will also be responsible for maintaining inventories, store appearance and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greets and assists customers in a positive, approachable manner. Answers questions and resolves customer inquiries and concerns.

  • Maintains a presence in the store by providing excellent customer service.

  • Ensures a clean, well-stocked store for customers.

  • At the direction of the Store Manager, supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates on Family Dollar operating practices and procedures.

  • Assists in unloading all merchandise from delivery truck, organizes merchandise, and transfers merchandise from stockroom to store.

  • Assists Store Manager in ordering merchandise and record keeping to include payroll, scheduling and cash register deposits and receipts.

  • Supports Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.

  • Assumes certain management responsibilities in absence of Store Manager.

  • Follows all Company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to read, interpret and explain to other's operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc).

  • Experience: Prefer store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments.

  • Physical Requirements:
    Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Medical Oncology Assistant Clinic Manager JOB TITLE: Assistant Clinical Manager STATUS: Exempt 5 days a week GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Provides and coordinates professional nursing care for Hematology Oncology Associates patients receiving therapy following established standards and practices. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Clinical Manager SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Assist in the supervision and coordination of activities of RNs, LPNs, and MAs. Evaluates adherence to established policies and procedures within above clinical roles. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 100 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: * All duties encompassed in the position of Registered Nurse as defined by State of New York and outlined in the Hematology Oncology Associates medical oncology RN job description. * Mentors RNs as directed. * Collaborates with the Director of Nursing in developing the staff assignments, and also aids in the decisions about attendance by staff to outside conferences. * Works with Clinical manager on a daily basis to help support the MA team needs, process, and flow. * With the Director of Nursing and Clinical Managers conducts monthly meetings of the registered nurses to keep them abreast of important information and to allow them input into decision making. Plans and participates in the Medical Assistant team meetings. * Maintain effective interpersonal relations with the MDs, clinical and ancillary staff and other departments. Tracking and recording of competency of staff surrounding quality standards. * Resolves patient or family concerns and refers serious or unresolved concerns or complaints to the Director of Nursing or Chief Clinical Officer. * Reviews existing and develops new policies and procedures as necessary to improve efficiency, quality and consistency of nursing and MA care. * Participates in development of new P&P to improve office practice. * Assist with interviews/evaluates new clinical staff for potential employment. * Attends educational sessions to improve/maintain professional level. * Counsels staff as required to resolve any interpersonal, policy or professional issues, documenting discipline as necessary.
