SUMMARY The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager and team with sales generation, store operations and HR functions to ensure maximum profitability and compliance with Company procedures. This position reports to the Store Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Generation
Motivates team to achieve store sales goals.
Maintains adequate sales floor coverage and supervision.
Addresses and resolves customer concerns according to company philosophy and standards.
Upholds luxury clienteling to provide the best customer experience, both in-store and digitally.
Team Management
Recruits and interviews candidates.
Observes and coaches in the moment.
Trains team on sales techniques, product knowledge and store operations.
Upholds and enforces company policies and procedures, including dress code, attendance and punctuality.
Demonstrates effective communication with customers, coworkers and associates.
Leads by example and positively influences others.
Store Operations
Manages store operations including, but not limited to, processing deliveries and transfers in a timely manner, merchandising goods on the sales floor, maintaining visual standards, minimizing shrink, and communicating stock needs.
Executes correct POS processes including proper cash handling and opening/closing the registers.
Ensures adherence to operational policies and procedures.
Maintains standards of cleanliness and organization.
Maintains store safety standards.
Safeguards company property, including key holding.
Understands organizational objectives and partners with the Store Manager to make decisions that align with Company priorities and values.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED: Minimum of 1-2 years of Management experience in a retail environment
Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in a luxury retail environment
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Proficiency with computers and tablet devices.
Ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills, both on and off the sales floor.
Ability to work flexible hours including morning, mid, evening and weekend shifts as business dictates.
Strong problem-solving attitude.
Proven ability to understand and drive store profitability through service.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail.
Essential Physical Requirements
Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently
Climbing ladders – occasionally
Routine standing for duration of shift (up to 8 hours)
Ability to work varied hours and days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
