Job Summary

Work under the direction of the head softball coach and assist with the administration of a successful Division I softball program. Responsibilities include player development, recruiting, academic monitoring, administrative support. Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• All areas of directing, monitoring, and improving players athletic skills.

• Assist the head coach with on-the-field coaching of student-athletes during practices, individual skill training, and games.

• Will be in charge of academic progress and assisting with recruiting.

• Other duties as assigned to include administrative duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.

• Experience coaching/playing softball or baseball at the NCAA Division 1 level and higher or the equivalent experience.

• Must be knowledgeable of and assure compliance with all applicable NCAA, Western Athletic Conference and University regulations, policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.

• Four plus (4+) years of experience coaching softball at the NCAA D1 level and higher.
