Assistant Softball Coach

Description of Job

Edgewood College seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Coach serving as one of three assistants for the Softball program. This is a twelve-month part time position.

Responsibilities

• Investment in lives and growth of student-athletes

• Assisting head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring and evaluation

• Recruiting

• Practice Planning

• Ability to participate in practice and drills

• Instruction and assistance with camps

• Enhancement of our fundraising efforts

• Desire to participate in team community service opportunities

• Other administrative duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Necessary Education or Work Experience

The qualified candidate should have previous coaching experience and have completed an undergraduate degree.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Candidates should also have collegiate playing experience, advanced skill and/or college coaching experience.

Applicants should be in a position to start effective August 1, 2024.
