JOB DESCRIPTION

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is looking for an Assistant Site Manager for the Pottery Barn brand! This person will lead successful implementation of website releases for potterybarn.com.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Manage implementation of project releases, interfacing with cross-functional teams, such as: Creative, Merchandising, WS Information Systems as well as Vendor and Tech teams to ensure on time and on budget completion of project releases

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors, partners, and internal department teams;

Develop site strategic and tactical plans to improve site and internal testing of functionality and user acceptance

  • Author functional specifications documents and customer call center site overview for each release

  • Act as site operations manager for potterybarn.com in conjunction with the site manager, when necessary

  • Work on special assignments as needed

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because you have...

  • Bachelor of Arts of Bachelor of Science

  • 2 years experience in project management role

  • Knowledge of website development processes and project management as a discipline

  • Internet, Catalog or Retail Buying/Merchandising experience (a plus)

  • Strong interpersonal skills/team player and demonstrated ability to work with various teams harmoniously while keeping project releases on time and on budget

  • Proven business skills and demonstrated ability to understand technology, including database structures and site merchants

  • Experience with testing software and/or web products

  • Strong affinity for the Pottery Barn brand

  • Excellence Communication Skills
