Job Summary

Under the direction of the Superintendent and the supervision of the School Safety Officer, the Assistant School Safety Officer is assigned to one more school sites to protect life and property; responds to alarms and calls for assistance; performs a variety of investigative and protective duties to provide security services in assigned areas of the District under the discretion of the School Safety Officer and under the guidelines of the District Policies and Procedures; and performs related duties as required.
