We offer a full range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services for children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients in our newly renovated units.

Tucker Pavilion The Leader in Behavioral Health:

  • A 137-bed Psychiatric Facility.

  • Offering of care continuum crisis team on site, inpatient/acute care for all ages, partial hospitalization for adolescents/adults

  • Use of audiovisual technology to offer Behavioral Health Needs assessments to HCA Virginia's Emergency Departments

  • Partnership with the community in offering a Crisis Triage Center

  • Injection of clinical pathways in programming

  • Diverse array of therapeutic offerings yoga, 12 step support, NAMI peer support, spiritual, pet therapy, gym on site, and more

  • Quality focus with outcome measurements injected into clinical programming

  • Four Child Psychiatrists

  • Host site for Behavioral Health clinical nursing rotations

The Assistant Resource Allocation Specialist will perform clerical duties to include scheduling, payroll, and other small administrative tasks. Other duties and tasks are listed below.


  • Performs ongoing evaluation of staffing and bed resources, providing status to Quality Management, Administration, and Department Directors.

  • Produces continual staffing projections based on current productivity status and unit-to-unit acuity levels. Communicates these findings internally and to All About Staffing to obtain staffing and ensure appropriate rations.

  • Exhibits expertise with Ansos, Kronos, Meditech, Patient Tracking, Pre-Admin Tracking and Transport Tracking. Serves as an education and information resource for these systems.

  • Demonstrates the ability to successfully perform numerous tasks concurrently by utilizing critical thinking and organizational skills.

  • Exhibits effective communication skills with all internal and external customers. Demonstrates leadership and professionalism in customer service.

  • Facilitates patient throughput and promotes patient/Physician satisfaction.

  • Produces accurate monthly staffing projections to assist Administration with projected per diem agency use.

  • Provides access to current Ansos schedules to all nursing units by updating at four-week intervals as scheduled.

  • Maintains employed central flexi and agency per diem staff files.


  • High School Graduate or GED. (required)

  • Computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology (required)


  • Satisfactory reference(s) from prior employers (required)

  • Knowledge of data entry and previous computer/clerical experience (required)

  • Prior experience in hospital staffing and/or bed control/patient placement (preferred)


  • Full Time

  • Monday-Friday (6-8 hour shifts)

  • No Weekends

  • Holiday Requirements as needed

The DPS Level I eVA Business Support Analyst is part of the eVA Business and Billing Customer Care Team responsible for the accurate and timely accounting, invoicing, and collection of eVA fees. eVA is the Commonwealth's Electronic Procurement Program and provides web-enabled electronic purchasing tools that are used by state agencies, other public bodies, and suppliers. These tools support requisitioning, ordering, and receiving activities of end users and professional buyers, as well as the solicitation, submission, and evaluation of electronic bids and proposals. eVA supports suppliers by providing a single web portal where they can register to do business with the Commonwealth, identify and respond to business opportunities, and access current and historical purchasing data. eVA also provides tools that support effective management of purchasing resources, leveraging of the Commonwealth's buying power, and top-to-bottom fiscal responsibility and accountability. eVA is funded by revenue generated from eVA order transaction fees. eVA transaction fees are invoiced to suppliers, state agencies, and/or other public bodies based on criteria specified in the eVA Business Plan, the Agency Procurement and Surplus Property Manual, and other written agreements. Minimum Qualifications ?Experience with Microsoft office products such as Word Processing, spreadsheets, email, presentation software, and internet browsers. ?Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to end users as well as management from line to senior levels. ?Excellent customer service skills resulting in positive, helpful oral and written communications with user agencies, vendors and fellow employees ?Ability to function independently and manage/perform a variety of competing tasks simultaneously. ?Demonstrated experience with organization and prioritization skills with experience answering multi phone line system and taking high volume calls is required ?Strong problem solving and data analytic skills with the ability to interpret & apply policies ?Strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment Preferred Qualifications ?Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field, or an equivalent combination of training & experience ?Experience in managing customer accounts and providing customer care in a billing or collections environment ?Knowledge and experience in procurement, standard business practices, and/or contract law ?Certification as VCO or VCA certifications Special Requirements THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO CURRENT STATE EMPLOYEES ONLY.
