Accel Entertainment is the largest Gaming Terminal Operator in the country. We provide slot machines, redemption terminals, and amusement devices (pool tables, juke boxes, dart boards, etc.) to bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops, and fraternal and veteran establishments across the country. Our focus is providing unmatched customer support, guidance, and compliance expertise so our partner establishments can grow their businesses and generate more revenue.
SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, supervision and oversight of collection operations and route technicians in an assigned collection region. Collection operations will include gaming service, amusement service, Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) replenishments. Although primarily responsible for their collection region, support for other Accel Entertainment departments and collection regions will be provided as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicates and explains job descriptions, company policies, procedures, and expectations to direct reports; and enforces non-compliance.
Promotes, supports, implements, and enforces, company optimization programs, policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
Monitors reports and collection dashboards to identify issues; then determines and takes appropriate actions to resolve them.
Initiates coaching and disciplinary actions for performance, attendance, and policy violations.
Assesses technician's proficiencies no less than quarterly and coordinates appropriate training to address areas for improvement.
Trains and/or coordinates technician training on Salesforce, Cash Logistics, Microsoft Office, ADP, and other collection support systems.
Prepares, adjusts, and inputs schedules into ADP to ensure adequate collection coverage, as well as to provide scheduling visibility to management and the Human Resources payroll department.
Monitors and approves timecards and time-off requests to ensure personnel clock in and out as scheduled, take breaks, and to make sure there are adequate personnel available for regional collection coverage.
Understands how to balance fiscal responsibility and customer's needs when approving warranted overtime.
Provides guidance to peers and subordinates during scheduled shifts as well as outside of normal work hours.
Assists Regional Route Managers interview and evaluate potential hires.
Collaborates and communicates with the company parts and fleet department to ensure technicians have all necessary supplies, tools, and vehicles.
Conducts quarterly vehicle inspections to ensure company vehicles are serviced and kept clean, as well as ensuring there is no unreported damage, and that all assigned equipment, parts, tools, and keys are accounted for.
Collaborates with all departments as necessary to support Accel customer experience initiatives.
Knowledgeable of applicable Illinois Gaming regulations and local municipality requirements and restrictions.
Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years in route gaming or equivalent combination of education and experience desired
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
Proficient with basic PC skills, Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, and Outlook
Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing protocols and tasks
Excellent ethics and integrity
Excellent customer service
High attention to detail
Self-motivated and quick learner
Minimum of 21 years of age
Valid Driver's License
Clean driving record
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler's License from the Illinois Gaming Board
