Job Summary: The Community Coordinator is a key player in our team, making sure our residents feel welcome and cared for. This role involves chatting with residents, explaining community policies, and keeping an eye on the overall wellbeing of the community. You'll be helping residents with their housing and service needs, keeping tabs on visitors, and jumping in to handle any problems or emergencies that come up. Your work will be crucial in building a supportive and thriving community where everyone can flourish. We encourage people with lived experience to apply. This is an on-site position.
Pay: $24.00/hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two-years work experience in social services or customer service-related field.
Experience applying the principles of conflict management, and organizing groups, events, or programs.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Chat with visitors and residents.
Remain calm and de-escalate in a variety of situations.
Decide when an incident is an emergency and take action.
Maintain confidentiality.
Function effectively in an environment with diverse cultures, multiple perspectives, and lines of authority.
Treat a variety of people with respect and compassion.
Flexible, resourceful, creative, and able to take initiative.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
