Occasional travel and site visits required. Location: Fort Mill, SC with work-from-home flexibility one day per week. Office located at: 9088 Northfield Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29707 Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 annual salary.

Company bonus incentives 401k Retirement Plan with matching contributions Employee Referral bonus program Training and Development Benefits: Employee Reviews for growth and development OSHA Training with compensation Job Summary: The Assistant Project Manager/Field Staff Coordinator at Summit Drilling plays a crucial role in supporting project execution and coordinating field staff activities.

Reporting to the Directors of Drilling Operations and Remediation Operations, this role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who can manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Assistant Project Manager Role Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in all phases of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Coordinate and schedule field staff activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation and adherence to project timelines. Communicate project goals, objectives, and updates to field staff and clients.

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Assist field staff with continuing education, license renewals, and new training. Identify and resolve issues that may arise during project execution. Maintain accurate records of project activities and field staff performance.

Assist new hires with the onboarding process. Communicate with directors as needed. Perform site visits and document observations.

Assistant Project Manager Requirements: 2 years of experience in project management or a similar role in construction or similar industry. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant industry experience. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn quickly and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Passing a background check and drug screening Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Assistant Project Manager Preferences:

Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar system. Experience in the Environmental Drilling/Remediation field, or similar. Experience in coordinating field staff in a construction or similar environment.
