Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Project Manager and become an essential force driving the success of a diverse range of real estate development projects under the esteemed Port Gamble Master Plan. Your role will involve facilitating due diligence, navigating entitlement processes, precise task tracking, efficient scheduling, and seamless communications. Location: This position is based at our Poulbo, WA office and requires a minimum of three days per week onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), with potential for local travel.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the efforts of the team ensuring Project Managers and teams are organized and on schedule for required tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Maintain project schedules including driving coordination with consultants and municipal officials.

  • Track contractor and consultant contracts to ensure adherence to specified budgets and schedule.

  • Track project expenditures independent from the company accounting department.

  • Ensure proper coding of invoices and work with the accounting department to resolve issues as needed.

  • Assist with developing project budgets and preparing managerial reports.

  • Conduct research for projects as requested.

  • Provide professional and clear communication.

  • Represent Company in a positive and professional manner in community organizations and meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned and maintain flexibility to help with special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, associates degree or higher preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience with project management: scheduling, tracking tasks, managing budgets, contracts, insurance requirements, and bonding.

  • This is an in office position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office. (Tue, Wed & Thur) and may require local travel.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, deadlines and work with a wide variety of constituents coordinating towards a common goal.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, be detail oriented, able to prioritize work and multi-task in a busy office, meet deadlines, be an excellent communicator (both verbal and written), and be capable of working independently with little direct supervision.

  • Strong work ethic, show initiative (a self-starter), be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel experience, familiar with PowerPoint, and ready, willing to learn new or unfamiliar technology resources.

Pay & Benefits

Our pay range for this position is $56,300 to $84,500 based on knowledge and experience. This position is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan.
