Assists Project Manager and Construction Manager with overall administrative direction of one or more projects. Responsible for assisting with overall project performance including costs, schedule, quality, and project status. Maintains an excellent relationship with subtrades and clients.

Ensuring project profitability - understanding and enforcing contractual responsibilities, contract documents and resolving disputes
Maintaining excellent relations with owner, architect, consultants, subcontractors, public
Project Planning &Execution:
Supporting the project manager and Construction Manager in development and distribution of the Project Execution Plan (PEP, which is to include, but not necessarily be limited to: site-specific safety and quality plans, organizational structure, contacts list, roles & responsibilities, communication protocol, document control, site logistics, schedule, buyout strategy, procurement, subcontracts, staffing and equipment plans, filing system, cost and quantity management, commissioning, and closeout procedures)
Setting up of project reporting procedures (cost reports labor & material, site office procedures, document drawing control)
Assisting CM/PM in establishing the construction plan and engineering methods
Developing and ensuring compliance with quality control plan / establishing site QUEST action teams as necessary
Involved in all facets of project close-out, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies and warranty work
Project Cost Controls:
Handling all change orders, including negotiating, processing and assessing cost and schedule impact
Performing detailed cost review of equipment to be used
Negotiating and issuing subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitoring their progress, schedule and conducting subcontract buyout
Providing performance status reports regarding cost forecast, schedule and safety
Meeting manager; acting as chair on project meetings
Liaising with building authorities and regulatory agencies
Qualifications, Certifications, and Education Requirements -
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, or 3+ years of related experience and/or training
Excel, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project Experience
