Position: Construction Assistant Project Manager (Large Construction) Internship for Students – Fall 2024 (full-time or part-time)

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Pay Range: $19 - $22 per hour

The Superior Group is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in the TSG Co-Op or internship program during the Fall 2024 term (September-December). We rely on our interns to provide support to our teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table.

Under the guidance of our Project Operations team, you’ll work alongside Project Managers and/or Senior Project Managers, gaining exposure to daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the project(s) to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions. We also host in-house workshops to help you develop workplace and Project Management-specific skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project documentation including Construction drawings, requests for information, submittals, and meeting minutes

• Document weekly project owner’s meetings and decisions

• Posts drawings and specifications with most recent information

• Assist the project team with site safety documentation and coordination

• Assist in the management of of project permit process

• Help maintain and distribute project schedule

• Assist the project team with closeout of project including generation of project punch list and documentation

• Collaborates and demonstrates teamwork in a project setting

Education

• Required: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management or related field
