Job Description Job Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer role and hold a degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
This is an on-site position based out of our Farmington office, with occasional site visits required. Remote work is not permitted, except under special circumstances. Roles & Responsibilities As an Assistant Project Manager, you will:
Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects. Review and manage project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Track project budgets and assist with cost control measures. Participate in client and subcontractor meetings, providing updates on project progress. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on all job sites.
Assist in preparing project reports and maintaining project documentation. Help manage the project closeout process, including punch lists and final documentation. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. 2 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer in the construction industry. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
