Assistant Project Manager Construction

Job Description Job Description Catamount Builders is a high-end construction company looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager. The Assistant Construction Project Manager is responsible for assisting with the management of the construction schedule, budget, quality, safety, and relationships of a construction project in partnership with the Project Manager/Superintendent.

This position assists with the planning and coordination of all aspects of the construction process to effectively manage the risk at hand. This includes managing subcontractors, contract negotiations, client expectations, dispute resolution, estimating/pricing, material procurement and schedule production. Responsibilities: Participate in the design of project management processes and budget planning.

Attend planning meetings and project status meetings. Assist with developing and maintaining the project plan by producing summary status reports, issuing monthly projections, and change orders, change proposals/pricing for both the owner and the subcontractor(s), creating/monitoring pay applications and cash flow to manage the budget. Assist with development all project administration, correspondence, letters etc.

Maintain a complete understanding of job contract and contract documents. Coordinate delivery of material and supplies to job sites. Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

Build and maintain good working relationships with clients to ensure complete customer satisfaction and good prospects for future business. Coordinate and ensure smooth operation of multiple projects from start to finish. Ability to work independently.

Qualifications: A bachelor's in a field related to the hiring industry may be preferred 1-5 years of proven and successful experience in the hiring industry Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution. Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively.
