Project Engineer/PM/Assistant Project Manager Job Description Contract prospective bidders utilizing bidding software or telephone. Assist estimator with bid day activities.

Participate in project planning. Conduct constructability & spec reviews. Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, change order proposals, and monthly payment requests for review by Project Management staff.

Prepare, distribute, and track RFIs. Distribute and track CBs, RFPs, or other change issue documentation. Close out activities including but not limited to distribution and tracking punch lists.

Assist Project Management staff or Superintendent with creating and/or updating project schedule. Prepare and distribute progress meeting notes. Review shop drawings and samples for conformance to documents.

Proactively manage project submittal approval process. Post addenda or other changes to plans and specifications. Assist jobsite Superintendent with short duration scheduling, timekeeping, etc.

Order and schedule delivery of materials. Participate in productivity initiatives (track finished work to schedule/goal). Complete other close-out requirements. Conduct routine safety audits and assist with safety planning for jobsites.

Must Have: 0-2 years of Construction Management experience Minimum of an associates degree in related field, bachelors in construction management is preferred Proficient in Excel, and reading blueprints Experience working with Project Coordinators and Project Managers About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
