Assistant Project Manager - Construction

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of large commercial construction projects. You will utilize advanced project management software to track progress and work closely with Senior Project Managers to adhere to schedules. Additionally, your role involves managing relationships with sub vendors to ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure project goals are met.
• Utilize project management software to track and report on project progress.
• Work closely with Senior Project Managers to maintain project schedules.
• Manage relationships with sub vendors to ensure budget compliance.
• Assist in the bidding process for projects valued at $10 million and above.

Required Hard Skills:

• Proven experience in bidding on projects valued at $10 million and above.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and other project management software.
• Strong understanding of construction project management principles.

Required Soft Skills:

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
• Strong budget management and financial acumen.

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
