Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction Position Overview We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager who is knowledgeable in project engineering and management to join our commercial construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of construction projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Assist in the management of project plans, timelines and budgets Ensure that all project phases are well-coordinated and completed on time Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction progress is on schedule Assist in the management of project costs, including labor and materials Assist in the coordination of sub-contractors and other third-party vendors Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders and reports Communicate project status and progress to internal and external stakeholders Qualifications A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related field 2 years of experience in project engineering or management Knowledge of commercial construction practices and processes Experience with project management software and tools Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Nice to have: Experience in commercial construction, project management, construction contract management, pre-engineered construction Benefits
