Citrus Construction is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager to join our team. Are you a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team!

Position: Assistant Project Manager

Location: Tri County area - (Miami Dade/Broward/West Palm Beach)

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in Miami-Dade County preferred

About Us: Citrus Construction, a division of The Richman Group, specializes in multi-family new construction and remodeling. Founded as a general building contractor with the objective of streamlining the overall construction process from development to property management.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting Project Managers and/or Superintendents in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control and quality standards are met. Under the direction of the PM, the Assistant Project Manager is expected to take on any/all tasks in the quest to learn all he/she can about construction.

Requirements:

Education: The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in construction management with at least one year of field experience or five years of related experience in the construction industry.

Experience:

• Three (5) years of experience working in wood framed multifamily construction- garden style and mid-rise construction preferred.

• Experience in supporting, large-scale residential projects preferred.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints.

• Proficiency with construction management software and tools including Procore.

• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and permit requirements.

Licenses and Certifications:

• OSHA 30-hour certification or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Skills:

• Assist the Project Manager and or Vice President in all phases and aspects of the project.

• Provide support to Field Staff.

• Follow the Companies Best Practices.

• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.

• Review and maintain control all of plans and specifications.

• Manage the submittal and RFI process and permits.

• Manage the Project Closeout Process

• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

• Oversee and manage the construction schedule, budget, and quality control.

• Assist in the preparation and submission of progress reports, change orders, and other project-related documents.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager and team members to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process.
