Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager plays a crucial role in the success of construction projects by staying ahead of the team's needs and bringing order to a demanding and fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting and supporting the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in managing and coordinating construction activities. Responsibilities include change management, monitoring project schedules, overseeing submittal and RFI processes, managing subcontractor relations, preparing owner change orders, recording and distributing meeting minutes, and managing the closeout process. The role also entails organizing project documents, preparing for project close-out, archiving, securing contractually required documents, and assisting in compiling project billing. The Assistant Project Manager will also engage in summarizing project meetings, assisting in the punch list process, overseeing procurement, updating contract drawings, monitoring construction quality, and posting safety information.
