Qualified applicants must hold a Ph.D. in information systems or a closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution or international equivalent.

Position Summary

The Department of Management Information Systems in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for one or more full-time tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level for August 1, 2025.

The successful candidate must have the ability to teach technical MIS classes.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Qualified applicants should have a demonstrated potential to establish a successful record of scholarly research, commensurate with rank, as evidenced by copies of published articles or submitted manuscripts to top-tier Information Systems journals, and working papers targeted for publication in top-tier IS journals. Evidence of potential for excellence in teaching is also desirable.

Ability to teach business an web programming in Java preferred.
