Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will have experience in small animal surgery, such as isolation of coronary artery and mesenteric arteries in mouse models; should have experience in vascular reactivity (wire and pressure myography) studies and myocyte isolation from adult heart; an outstanding publication record; and demonstrated skills in biochemistry and molecular biology. For this position experience in molecular biology skills such as real time PCR analysis, cloning, reporter assays, confocal microscopy and cellular transfection studies are desirable. The ability to independently work in a research project, organize work effectively, and conceptualize and prioritize objectives based on project knowledge is a plus. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field with focus in biochemistry and molecular biology. Other documents supporting qualifications will be 1 to 3 representative publications. Three professional references required. Academic degree as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held.
