The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in speech-language pathology, starting August 2024. Primary teaching and clinical responsibilities will be in the area of speech-language pathology, with preference given to dysphagia, neuro, diagnostics, and phonetics. Duties of this position include teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in the applicant's area of specialization, clinical supervision, scholarly research activities, student advising and mentoring, and service to the department and university.

Education Requirements:

Ph.D. or research-based Ed.D. in speech-language pathology or related field required. Consideration given to ABDs with degree completion by time of appointment.

Required Qualifications:

CCC-SLP credential and Iowa license eligibility required.

Desirable Qualifications:

Speciality area open, but specialization in dysphagia, neuro, diagnostics, and phonetics preferred.
