Tenure Track Faculty Announcement:

The Department of Political Science and International Relations at Loyola Marynount University invites applications for an Assistant Professor who specializes in Political Behavior beginning in the Fall of 2020. Research interests may include public opinion, voting behavior, political psychology, political participation, or political communication and candidates who brings a race or gender lens to their analysis would be especially welcome.

The regular teaching load for this position includes two sections of our introductory methods class as well as a seminar in advanced methods. LMU has a 2-2/2-3 teaching load, meaning that faculty teach two undergraduate courses per semester, with one 3 course load semester every other year. We are seeking to hire a dedicated teacher and emerging scholar who will embrace the department's mission of helping students become informed, analytically reflective, and engaged global citizens. Succesful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to working with diverse student and community populations.
