The Physical Therapy Program at Midwestern University, Glendale, Arizona invites applications for a full-time 12-month tenure track faculty appointment. Rank is negotiable and dependent upon applicant's qualifications.
Position responsibilities include teaching in the areas of musculoskeletal rehabilitation, electrophysical agents, and therapeutic exercise. Additional responsibilities will include student advising, assisting in residency development, focused scholarship, and service within the department, university, and the profession. A startup funding package may be negotiated based on the candidate's needs and record of scholarly production.

The Physical Therapy Program is accredited by CAPTE and offers the entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. The Program is housed in Glendale Hall which was completed in 2008 and contains state of the art classrooms and laboratory spaces.
The preferred candidate will have (1) a Ph.D. or equivalent post-professional doctorate degree, (2) at least five years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal physical therapy, (3) eligibility and willingness to secure physical therapy licensure in Arizona, (4) experience working with physical therapy students and residents, (5) the ability to work effectively as a collaborative team member with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and (6) either orthopedic or sports specialist certification. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Relocation assistance is available.
