UAF's Community and Technical College is looking for the right person for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Process Technology to continue to grow and develop this program that prepare students for exciting careers in mining, water treatment, oil and gas, and all types of industrial processing careers. Classes are offered during both daytime and evening hours.

Every day you will be sharing your knowledge as you teach and equip students with the skills they'll need to monitor, control and troubleshoot process technologies used in industry. You'll put your excellent communication skills to work on a daily basis as you use both lecture and hands-on opportunities using equipment and models current to industry standards.
To thrive in this role you'll put your knowledge and skills in computer-based training, safety training and computer simulation of industrial processes to work to help prepare students for highly sought after careers in one or more of these areas: instrumentation technology, mining mill operations and a myriad of process operations. You will also utilize your networking skills to collaborate with industry and community partners who are critical to both the students' and program's success!
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with two (2) years process technology experience OR any associate degree with extensive industry experience OR a combination of appropriate education and experience.
Minimum three years' experience in Process Operations preferred.
Position Details:
This position is located at the UAF Community and Technical College in Fairbanks. This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure track faculty position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package.
