Title Assistant Professor of Practice, Biostatistics, Career-Track (NTE) Department Epidemiology and Biostatistics (4204) Medical Sub-Speciality Location UAHS - Tucson Position Summary

The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health is seeking candidates for Assistant Professor of Practice, who will engage in biostatistics instruction, research and service. This position will report to the Department Chair and work closely with the Director of the Biostatistics Program for undergraduate and graduate instruction.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and lead or participate in the development of new courses and programs in the department.

  • Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.

  • Lead or provide services to research projects.

  • Participate in program and department activities , including meetings, retreats and initiatives.

  • Support College and the University's mission.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in statistics or biostatistics plus at least 1 year of working experience in statistics or biostatistics instruction.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
