Assistant Professor Of Nursing

The University of Indianapolis is seeking an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing. This position is a 10-month, tenure track appointment with rank and salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction within the content area of expertise, service to the School of Nursing, University, and community, participation in scholarly activities, and

academic advising. The ideal candidate must have two years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner/or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

The ideal candidate would have experience in managing evidence-based projects with a passion for working with students and community practice partners to facilitate quality improvement Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) projects.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• An earned Masters and Doctorate required in nursing

• Unencumbered RN license in the State of Indiana

• Unencumbered APRN license in the State of Indiana

• Publication and/or professional presentations commensurate with experience

• Demonstrated record of involvement in the professional community

• Minimum two years of experience as a nurse practitioner
