The Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (which is part of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey) seeks to employ a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Hospital Medicine Candidates with an interest in and experience with chronic care models and care coordination of complex patients in various settings are encouraged to apply. The faculty member will be responsible for clinical patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, research, and teaching (medical students/resident physicians) in the field of Internal Medicine. Minimum Education and Experience

Requirements include Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent; Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine; New Jersey State Medical License; State of New Jersey Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) Physician Registration; and Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Certifications/Licenses

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
