Marshall University (School of Medicine) seeks an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Nephrology in Huntington, WV, to provide evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with known or suspected nephrology illnesses, hypertension, dialysis, and disorders of the kidneys on an outpatient and inpatient basis at School of Medicine clinics and affiliated healthcare facilities. Participate in after-hours on call rotations. Participate in medical student and resident education. Participate in clinical research. Additional duties assigned per the direction of the section chief and department chair. Fulltime or part-time status will be considered.

Qualifications
Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Required Qualifications
Education
Medical degree or foreign equivalent.
Must have a full and unrestricted West Virginia medical license at time of employment
Experience
Must have completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Nephrology.
Must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Nephrology.
