Banner Position Number 001967 Position Title Assistant Professor of Medicine in Infectious Disease Classification Title Assistant Professor Department SOM-Internal Medicine
Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine in Infectious Disease to provide evaluation and care to patients on an outpatient basis at School of Medicine affiliated clinics and on an inpatient basis at affiliated hospitals as assigned
on a rotational basis. The position is peripatetic in nature and may require travel on an "as needed" basis. Position will participate in on call rotations, participate in clinical practice/teaching opportunities with medical students and residents, and initiate and complete clinical research with medical students and residents as part of their scholarly activities.

Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Required Qualifications
Education
Experience
Must have completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Infectious Disease.
Must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Infectious Disease.
Must have a full and unrestricted West Virginia medical license at time of employment.
