The Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Texas Christian University (TCU) invites applications and nominations for a full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank within the Neeley School of Business. The successful candidate will begin employment in August, 2025.

The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate significant accomplishments in both teaching and research in entrepreneurship. Primary responsibilities will include performing high quality teaching and publishing entrepreneurship research in premier journals. Collegiality and a demonstrated ability to work with others are important. The teaching load and salary are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and will be determined in consultation with the dean.

The department's primary academic programs include an undergraduate business major and minor in entrepreneurship and innovation, and an MBA emphasis in entrepreneurship and innovation. These programs are supported by a number of co-curricular activities offered through the TCU Neeley Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, including the Values and Ventures Business Plan Competition, Shaddock Seed Fund, Entrepreneurial Intern Scholars Program, and Entrepreneurship Club. Our faculty regularly publish in, and have editorial roles on, leading entrepreneurship journals (e.g., Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice) and general management journals (e.g., Academy of Management Journal and Journal of Management).

The nationally ranked TCU Neeley School of Business has approximately 3,000 students enrolled across undergraduate and graduate programs, with approximately one third of TCU students in its programs as majors, minors or advanced degree seekers. Required Application Materials & Application Instructions:

An earned Ph.D. (or strong evidence of completion of Ph.D. before employment start date) in entrepreneurship or a closely related area. Demonstrated ability to publish in high-quality academic journals in entrepreneurship.

Demonstrated ability to teach entrepreneurship courses and evidence of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Excellent interpersonal communication skills including verbal and written, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising, and counseling skills.
