Regent University's School of Education is seeking an Assistant Professor for the Educational Leadership program. This is a full-time instructional, 12-month tenure-track position at Regent University's main campus in Virginia Beach, VA.

Qualifications: an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership or a related field. The candidate must have a commitment to best teaching practices and strong organizational skills.
Experience serving as a K12 school executive (e.g. superintendent, assistant superintendent, principal, or central office director) is highly preferred as this position will be working with stakeholders to develop rigorous and on demand courses. The candidate will also have applied and advanced knowledge of research and assessment methodology, curriculum development, and assessment design. Experience working with diverse student populations is required with the ability to teach and evaluate student performances. The individual must also have a strong familiarity with the Virginia Department of Education Administration and Supervision regulations.
Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) facility with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
