Assistant Professor Of Criminology & Criminal Justice

Buena Vista University, a private, nationally recognized Midwestern baccalaureate institution invites applications for a tenure track position in Criminology & Criminal Justice at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 2024. Responsibilities include teaching core and elective courses within the Criminology & Criminal Justice curriculum, advising criminology and criminal justice students, and engaging in service activities. Additional classes may be developed out of the candidate's area of expertise. Work experience in the field of corrections is preferred.Required Qualifications: * Master's degree in Sociology or Criminal Justice with 5 years of professional experience in the criminal justice field. * Ability to teach the following courses:*
