Job Summary

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University Northwest (PNW) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a 9-month academic appointment, beginning Fall 2024. The successful candidate will teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, mentor undergraduate students on senior design projects and masters-level graduate students on thesis research and perform research and scholarship.

Education

A Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering or a related field is required. The degree must be earned by August 12, 2024.

School

The School of Engineering at PNW comprises three departments: Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), and Mechanical and Civil Engineering (MCE). Closely affiliated with the School are two distinguished and award-winning research centers, the Center for Innovation through Visualization and Simulation (CIVS) and the Purdue Water Institute (PWI).

Department

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers ABET-accredited baccalaureate degree programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, and a graduate master's program in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The department provides excellent teaching and learning opportunities with state-of-the-art equipment, design studio, laboratories, and centers.
